Having partnered with the Heartland Home Improvements team on past projects, the Senatros came back ready to give their kitchen a much-needed update.
Their existing space had an outdated look and limited storage, but the overall layout still worked, making it the perfect candidate for a thoughtful full kitchen refresh.
Here’s how the space came together:
First, We Started With a Strategic Demo to Refresh the Space.
Demo day focused on removing select elements of the existing kitchen while keeping some of the cabinetry that still served the layout well.
With the space opened up, we worked alongside the homeowners to maximize the usable area, finding opportunities to add storage and improve functionality while keeping the footprint intact.
Then, We Elevated the Space With Custom Storage & Layered Lighting.
Our focus then turned to refining the kitchen with thoughtful upgrades. By maximizing unused areas, we were able to add storage and improve overall functionality.
Key updates include:
- Expanded storage with custom-built cabinetry to fill the wall space.
- New countertops & backsplash, bringing a fresh, modern look to the space while improving durability and easy maintenance.
- Upgraded ventilation & cooking performance with a newly added hood vent system, custom-installed by our lead carpenter with built-in venting.
- Layered lighting, including recessed lights, a chandelier above the table and under-cabinet lighting.
